Entertainment
At its best, the theatrical interior is an experience in its own right, building excitement and anticipation of the performance to come. Our studio has restored plaster, decorative finishes, and murals in historic theaters across the country, from Radio City Music Hall in New York City to the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco. We have also created new decorative finish schemes for entertainment venues such as the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Our theater clients are often concerned with creating the most beautiful, dramatic interiors possible within cost-conscious budgets and tight schedules. Work typically needs to be completed within “dark” periods. We are very sensitive to scheduling concerns and have a proven track record of completing theater work well in advance of season opening nights. We can also phase larger projects over several seasons so that revenue streams are not affected and fundraising can extend over a longer period of time. Our studio can assist with fundraising by building excitement and support for a project with finish mock-ups, samples, display panels, and presentations.
